Title Research and Development of integrated electronics design, materials, processes, evaluation, simulation
Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience We are recruiting the following researchers in order to promote the development of semiconductor-electronics, device integration, sensing, information, and communication technology, etc., which are necessary for deepening the IoT, CPS, and advanced information society.
1. Researcher who promotes research from designing and manufacturing of device materials to device verification, using manufacturing process/equipment technology, evaluation/analysis, and process/device simulation, and AI.
2. Researcher who has experience in new materials and device processes, as well as the ability to manufacturing process technology, equipment technology, circuit design, in order to promote R&D of new devices.
3. Researcher with expertise in fields such as semiconductor devices, electronic devices, optical devices, printing / flexible devices, 3D Integration,dissimilar material joining technology, MEMS, microfabrication processes, and material processes, who promotes integrated process development to realize various high-performance devices.
4. Researchers who develop semiconductor processes for the development of ultra-low power consumption devices and new principle devices, external use of facilities, etc. using the PoC fab at AIST.
5. Researchers who develop integrated technology for semiconductor qubit devices, cryoCMOS technology required for controlling qubit devices, device simulation, and evaluation technology, for the realization of quantum computing that brings discontinuous technological innovation to information processing.
Especially we welcome those who have experience working in semiconductor manufacturing lines. Applicants are also expected to actively absorb knowledge and technology in relevant fields and promote interdisciplinary R&D integrating different technologies. We welcome those who do not have a doctoral degree but have extensive work experience in a company.

Title Research and development of new principle devices and high-performance device integration processes
Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience The Research Center for Emerging Computing Technologies is recruiting the following researchers in order to promote the development of ultra-low power consumption devices, new principle devices, device integration, etc., which are necessary for deepening the IoT and CPS society.
1. Researcher who promotes R&D of device and process technologies for non-volatile memory, nano-sized metal interconnect, etc., by using AIST's 300mm process facility.
2. Researcher who has expertise in fields such as micro-fabrication process, low temperature measurement, circuit design, microwave-electronics, circuit architecture, quantum algorithm, and quantum information theory, and promotes R&D of fault-tolerant quantum computers using superconducting quantum circuits.
All applicants are also expected to actively absorb knowledge and technology in relevant fields and promote interdisciplinary R&D integrating different technologies. Concerning 1., it is desirable (but not a strict requirement) that applicants have experience of R&D of semiconductor devices at device manufacturer or tool manufacturer.
