Title Research and Development of Electronics and Device Technologies for Advanced Cyber-Physical System
Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience The Device Technology Research Department is recruiting the following researchers in order to promote the development of ultra-low power consumption devices, new principle devices, etc., which are necessary for deepening the IoT and CPS society.
1. Researcher who promotes a series of research from designing and manufacturing of device materials to device verification or new device material and process research combining with experiments, data science, first-principles calculations under the green semiconductor manufacturing conditions to develop new principle devices (logic, memory, sensor, communication) for ultra-low power consumption edge computing.
2. Researcher who has experience in new materials and device processes, as well as the ability to circuit design for integrated circuits such as AI chips and information processing algorithms, in order to promote R&D of neuromorphic devices, AI accelerators, and edge application devices.
3. Researcher with expertise in fields such as electronic devices, superconducting devices, MEMS, microfabrication processes, and material processes, who promotes manufacturing technology for variant and variable production or integrated process and MEMS process development to realize various high-performance devices.
4. Researcher with expertise in functional material coating technology, surface functionalization technology, dissimilar material joining technology, etc. for the development of next-generation communication technology, environment-resistant electronics, and various device technologies related to infectious disease control.
Applicants are also expected to actively absorb knowledge and technology in relevant fields and promote interdisciplinary R&D integrating different technologies.

Title Research and Development of the most advanced Semiconductor Device and silicon Quantum Device
Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience We are recruiting the following researchers to promote the following issues to be implemented at AIST's "Next Generation Computing Development Center".

1. Researchers who develop the most advanced semiconductor development (advanced integrated circuit design, next-generation CMOS device process development, etc.),
2. Researchers who develop new materials as advanced technologies that are not limited to the pursuit of miniaturization generations, three-dimensional integration technology, and development of dissimilar material joining technology. These research themes are the basic devices that support the digital society, and are aimed at next-generation logic (and analog) semiconductors, which are undergoing global development competition to achieve even lower power consumption and higher performance.
3. Researchers who develop integrated technology for semiconductor qubit devices, cryoCMOS technology required for controlling qubit devices, device simulation, and evaluation technology, for the realization of quantum computing that brings discontinuous technological innovation to information processing.
4. Researchers who develop semiconductor processes for the development of ultra-low power consumption devices and new principle devices, external use of facilities, etc. using the PoC fab at AIST.
5. Researcher who develop optical devices, semiconductor devices, and non-volatile memories using TIA-SCR's 300mm process as a semiconductor-related open innovation platform. And researcher who are actively involved in the management and operation of semiconductor-related open innovation platforms. Especially we welcome those who have experience working in semiconductor manufacturing lines.

2. Researcher who has expertise in fields such as micro-fabrication process, low temperature measurement, microwave-electronics, circuit architecture, and quantum information theory, and promotes R&D of fault-tolerant quantum computers using superconducting quantum circuits.
All applicants are also expected to actively absorb knowledge and technology in relevant fields and promote interdisciplinary R&D integrating different technologies. Concerning 1., it is desirable (but not a strict requirement) that applicants have experience of R&D of semiconductor devices at device manufacturer or tool manufacturer.
