Type A (Tenure-track position)/Type B (Tenured position)

The below-listed job opportunities are for both Type A (normally for 5 years) and Type B - which type of position applies will be determined following the selection process. The term for tenure track position may be shortened, e.g. 3 years or 4 years, commensurate with the candidate's previous achievements and professional experience. Research staff on tenure track are entitle to undergo a tenure rewiew one and a half years before the term ends.

Title Research and Development of New Principle Devices and High-Performance Integrated Devices
Details of Job Opportunity
We are recruiting the following researchers in order to promote the development of ultra-low power consumption devices, new principle devices, device integration, etc., which are necessary for deepening the IoT and CPS society.
1.Researcher who promotes a series of researches from designing and manufacturing of device materials to device verification, combining experiment, data science, first-principles calculation, and process/device simulation, focusing on film growth of semiconductor devices and process technology.
2.Researcher who has experience in new materials and device processes, as well as the ability to design circuits suitable for information processing algorithm, in order to promote R&D of devices with low power consumption and miniaturization for edge applications, or work on a novel quantum qubit, its fabrication process technology and simulation technology within the framework of quantum computing hardware research and development.
3.Researcher with expertise in fields such as electronic devices, superconducting devices, 3D Integration, MEMS, microfabrication processes, and material processes, who promotes integrated process and MEMS process development to realize various high-performance devices.
4.Researcher who are actively involved in the management and operation of semiconductor-related open innovation platforms. Especially we welcome those who have experience working in semiconductor manufacturing lines.
Applicants are also expected to actively absorb knowledge and technology in relevant fields and promote interdisciplinary R&D integrating different technologies..
