AIST:International Standardization

AIST recognizes international standardization as a highly important tool for disseminating technologies to society. Accordingly, we are actively promoting standardization activities utilizing our R&D achievements and standardization research collaborating with companies.

AIST's contribution to international standardization activities

Researchers of AIST have been playing a key role in committees of international standards developing organization such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
