Report on exhibit at Smart Energy Week 2018 February 28th (Wednesday) – March 2nd (Friday)
At the 8th Smart Grid Expo of Smart Energy Week 2018 held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) from February 28th (Wednesday) to March 2nd (Friday), we made joint exhibits with two companies, Sanno Co., Ltd. and Asahi Rubber Inc., supported by the Program for Promoting Technologies Invented by Industry in Disaster Areas in Tohoku.
In the joint exhibit, we introduced prototypes developed under the Program in 2017, and provided information about the Program for Promoting the Development and Commercialization of Renewable Energy Technologies Invented by Industry in Disaster Areas in Tohoku starting in 2018.
Our exhibit also introduced the Smart System Research Facility and FREA, using testing staff and the like to provide clear information and explanations to the audience.
Approximately 420 people visited our exhibit during the three-day period and discussions were held with interested companies at the booth, making it a great success.
The event organizers announced that a total of 64,399 people visited the exhibition over the three days.
