We are recruiting researchers to advance R&D in electronics and manufacturing technologies aiming for social implementation. We invite applications from researchers possessing advanced expertise and achievements in fields such as electrical and electronic engineering, materials science and engineering, physics and applied physics, chemistry and applied chemistry, bioengineering, optics, measurement engineering, information processing, computational science, applied mathematics, control engineering, communication engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, precision engineering, and tribology. However, the areas of expertise are not limited to those listed above and we also welcome researchers who are eager to pursue integrated, challenging, and interdisciplinary research that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries. The assigned research unit will be determined from among the seven units listed below during the selection process, taking into account the candidate's expertise, aptitude, and other relevant factors.
We also welcome those who do not have a doctoral degree but who are motivated to utilize their practical experience at a company for the social implementation of AIST's R&D. |

We are recruiting the following researchers to promote the development of leading-edge semiconductor devices.
1. Researchers who develop advanced semiconductor device technologies including innovative process and new material development for beyond 1nm node.
2. Researcheres who develop advanced lithography process technologies using EUVL, etc.
3. Researchers who develop advanced logic and/or analog integrated circuit design technlogies.
4. Researchers who develop environmental impact assessment and green technology for semiconductor manufacturing.
5. Researchers who develop semiconductor processes for the development of ultra-low power consumption devices and new principle devices, external use of facilities, etc. using the PoC fab at AIST.
We welcome not only those who have research experience in semiconductor devices, but also researchers who are motivated to promote integrated, challenging research across fields regardless of their specialty.

Research and Development of Advanced Integration Technologies and Fundamental Technologies for Cutting-Edge Functional Devices |

We are looking for researchers to work on:
1. R&D on advanced back-end technologies, including 3D semiconductor integration, packaging, RDL, and wafer bonding; development of integrated devices such as logic, memory, high-frequency devices, MEMS, photonic-electronic integrated devices, and power semiconductors; physical AI devices; and packaging and integration processes.
2. R&D on spintronics, magnetic materials, nonvolatile memories, and device/process technologies for quantum computing.
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in these fields, as well as those eager to take on challenging research beyond their current fields or to apply their industry experience to R&D and the practical implementation of research outcomes. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
