- Applicants should possess, or be scheduled to earn, a doctoral degree before the day of employment. Applicants with equivalent qualification are also welcome for application.

|
The job opportunities are for cooperative research laboratory between Sumitomo Electric Industries (SEI) and AIST for R&D on cyber security for IoT systems at the Cyber Physical Security Research Center. The candidates are required to conduct researches on technologies for protecting IoT systems from cyber attacks. According to the progress, the company in the cooperative research may have job openings for further research and development.
*We seek applicants who can conduct the proposed R&D project based on their knowledge, experience, and performance, regardless of taking Ph.D. degree.

| Compensation |
Remuneration will be determined by "Annual Salary System."
Different from other recruitments, high level remuneration will be offered for outstanding previous research achievement, experience, and ability/potential.
Other various allowances (service allowance, overtime work allowance, commuting allowance) will be paid based on “Rules for Salary of Non-tenured Employees of the AIST.”
* Housing allowance and alimony are not paid.
