Research and development on the assessment method of care technology and standardization |
Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience |
AIST and SOMPO Holdings are conducting cooperative research aimed at creating an advanced model of nursing care and an ecosystem of nursing care business, with high quality, highly efficiency, and high satisfaction for both care givers and care recipient. In this context, we are developing evaluation methods and decision support tools for the care tech (medical and welfare technology used in the nursing care sector) to assist care providers in their decision-making when introducing such technology.
To promote this research, we are widely seeking a researcher with a doctoral degree and research experience in the field of welfare engineering, ergonomics, design engineering, and information engineering. In particular, applicants with experience in technology development for the elderly and disabled, empirical evaluation at care facilities, and international standardization, as well as sufficient Japanese communication skills to conduct surveys of care professionals are desired. |
Compensation |
Salary decision for the successful candidates will be made under annual salary system that is designed to compensate highly qualified research scientists.
Base annual salary is determined based on their professional experience, job responsibilities and other relevant factors. Work responsibility allowance, overtime allowance and commuting allowance are separately provided in accordance with the Rules on Salary of Fixed-term employees. (Note: This position is not entitled to housing allowance or family allowance.) |
