Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience We are recruiting a proactive research scientist focused on conducting research and development related to technologies that contribute to improving employee quality of work (QoW) and productivity by measuring, analyzing, and estimating on-the-job behavior in interpersonal services. In particular, the project will promote research themes related to the measurement and analysis of caregivers in nursing care settings.
We are seeking researchers with doctoral degrees and research achievements in fields similar to information science, information engineering, information systems science, ergonomics, and service engineering, as well as sufficient Japanese communication skills to coordinate and share information with employees at experimental cooperation sites.
In addition, candidates should have experience in real-world data acquisition, experience in applying data analysis techniques such as machine learning and statistical methods to real-world data, knowledge of time series data analysis, and knowledge and experience in programming such as R and Python related to the above.
Compensation Salary decision for the successful candidates will be made under annual salary system that is designed to compensate highly qualified research scientists. 
Base annual salary is determined based on their professional experience, job responsibilities and other relevant factors. Work responsibility allowance, overtime allowance and commuting allowance are separately provided in accordance with the Rules on Salary of Fixed-term employees. (Note: This position is not entitled to housing allowance or family allowance.)
