Visits

Joint
Research
KNIRI conducts joint research with private enterprises in order to solve problems which lie in the boundary area between applied research and practical research for commercialization; for example, a project which requires specialized and advanced technology or a test for industrialization by a test plant.

Research
KNIRI conducts research sponsored by private enterprises to disseminate and help promote practical use of its research outcomes.
Testing
Services
KNIRI provides testing services such as chemical analysis, metal testing, measurement of mechanical parts. Fees are fixed by the Japanese Government.
Patent
Licensing
The property of inventions and contrivances produced through research activities belongs to the Japanese Government. Those who wish to implement inventions are requested to submit an application to the Japan Industrial Technology Association (JITA).
