We have a system to minimize damage in the event of an accident.Accidents Related to the Environment As a result of the inspection of drain pipes, damage was found as follows:Any damage will be reported to the municipalities, and water analysis of the leaked wastewater, groundwater analysis and, as needed, soil analysis will be performed to prevent adverse effects on the surrounding environment. At AIST Tohoku and AIST Tsukuba, many buried pipes were damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake. However, since wastewater was not being drained at the time, the damage had no adverse effect on the environment. The damaged pipes were repaired within FY2011.Monitoring roomFire Department, Police DepartmentAccident or disasterDiscoverer.Central Monitoring CenterDisaster Control Center(Holiday, night time)(Holiday, night time)SuperintendentDirector of research unitResponsible person (superior, person responsible for fire security)Relevant organizationsCompliance HeadquartersDirector of AIST TsukubaHealth Care Office, industrial physicianPlanning HeadquartersPublic Relations DepartmentPress releaseAnnouncement to neighboring municipalitiesEmergency telephoneAIST Tsukuba Central 1AIST Tsukuba Central 2AIST Tsukuba Central 3AIST Tsukuba Central 4AIST Tsukuba Central 5AIST Tsukuba Central 6AIST Tsukuba Central 7AIST Tsukuba WestAIST Tsukuba East(※)※At some sites, guard posts should be notifiedGeneral Affairs Division/OfficeResearch Environment and Safety HeadquartersSafety and Environmental Management DivisionAIST Tsukuba Emergency Communication SystemEnvironmental Report|59
