Since its reorganization in 2001, with the interdisciplinary integration, we have been promoting research from basic to product realization with outcome awareness(Full research). In the Third Medium Term starting in 2010, toward the realization of a sustainable society, AIST conducts organic cooperation with industry, universities and governments based upon the“Open Innovation Hub”concept in which “human resources” and “organization”of AIST are utilized.
