Research and development of technologies for protection of health
AIST is contributing to life innovation by developing new technologies to evaluate health and assisting in the creation of new medicines as well as in the maintenance, improvement, and recovery of health according to the individual’s condition. To develop these new technologies, AIST is seeking investigators who can elucidate function of biomolecules (such as genes, RNAs, and proteins) to discover biomarkers with use of biological experiments and bioinformatics, and develop new technologies for drug development and early diagnosis. AIST expects applicants from bioscience, biochemistry, medical science, and information science.
