FIT (feed-in tariff) was introduced in July, 2012, with global warming countermeasure, advancement of energy security, and development of environment-related industries as its objectives. Biomass, as one of the renewable energies, is utilized for not only energy production such as heat, power, biogas, and biofuels, but also for co-production of chemicals and materials based on biomass refinery technologies.
This international workshop offers the opportunity to introduce the latest trends in biomass R&D and to discuss the practical application of biomass energy technologies as well as to organize Asian and worldwide networks and capacity building systems.
