"Nano tech" is the world's largest nanotechnology exhibition, assembling the most recent researches and technologies from around the world. This event will be covering the entire nano marketplace and creating a variety of business opportunities, by concurrently holding with 9 related events.
The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) is promoting a “Nano-to-Meter” Project for green innovation. The project aims at bridging the gap between nanotechnology and industrial-scale production and application development. By utilizing state-of-the-art nanotechnologies developed in AIST, the development of large-area/size materials and large-scale production technologies are being developed thereby contributing to the enhancement of industrial global competitiveness and environmental consciousness.
Here, at the AIST booth at the Nano Tech 2011, we introduce some results of the “Nano to Meter” project, such as transparent graphene sheets made by a low temperature rapid process, a large area single-wall carbon nanotube forest made from a pilot production plant, a 1” single crystal diamond wafer intended for power devices, etc. In addition, other representative recent results from AIST in nanotechnology, materials, and manufacturing technology are presented by the research scientists who developed them. We are looking forward to your visit.
