Screen for setting condition(s) up for search.There are four kind of condition as listed below. Search the presentations which match all of conditions. Condition left blank matches everything.

Fiscal year
Fiscal year when the presentation had been made. Specify the fiscal year by four digit numbers.
(The fiscal year used is Japanese system, so a fiscal year starts from April, and it ends at March.
Ex. Fiscal year of 2001 is a period from April 1st 2001 to March 31st 2002. )
Presentations in the database have been presented after April 1st 2001 when the AIST was established.
Presenter, Affiliation
Name and/or affiliations of authors/presenters.
Multiple names and/or affiliations can be specified by separating each word by a white space. If multiple words specified, presentations which contain all of those words in authors fields are selected.
Search keyword(s)
Keywords for search.
Multiple keywords can be specified by separating each word by a white space. If multiple words are specified, presentations which contain all of those words in the title, abstract and keywords of the presentation are selected.
Type of research results
Research results are classified in nine types.
If you want search specific types only, pease check at the types you want, otherwise mark the radio button at "all".
Nine types and their explanations are follows.
Published article presentation
Papers published in academic journals or proceedings, commentaries ,etc.
Oral presentation
Oral presentations in conferences, posters in poster session and panelists in panel discussion.
Book/periodical presentation
Books, periodical publications and reports.
Geosciences Report
Geological map, and other presentations and publications related to geoscience.
Surveying Technology Report
Presentations related to metrology and standards.
Software
Gratuitous softwares.
Database
Gratuitous databases.
Press release
Press releases from AIST (not including materials gathered by reporters).
Exhibit
Presentations as exhibits in exhibitions.

Details of the presentation

Input search conditions in each fields and press "Search" button, list of presentations which match the conditions may appear. (as shown in the figure above)

Presentations with Japanese titles may be written in Japanese.

Outline of the screen:

Conditions used are shown at top as "Search Key". The total number of presentations found is shown at top left of the table.

Up to twenty five presentations are displayed in one page. If presentations more than twenty five are found, the list is shown in separated pages. Navigation between pages can be made by clicking links of "Previous","Next" or numbers.

Each line in the list consists of the type of the presentation, the title and a link to the detail of the presentation.

Difference between "Search again" button in the page and "BACK" button of the browser.

Example shown above is the result of search by specifying "TEM" as a search keyword and limited to "Oral Presentations".

If you want to narrow the result, use "BACK" button of the browser. You may come back to the top page with search conditions used, so you can add more condition(s) to narrow. (Conditions may be cleared depends on the setup of the browser.)

Example of narrowing by adding "nanotube" as a keywords is shown below.

You can come back to the top page with all conditions cleared by Clicking "Search again" button in the page.

Details of a presentation may be shown by following a link "Detail" of the list.

If you have any question about the presentation appeared, click "For information, contact ( aist-seikadb-ml@aist.go.jp )" in the page.
