Transportation
Take the Joban Line from Ueno station to Arakawaoki Station (about 70 minutes). From the East Exit, take the bus for Tsukuba Daigakuchuo, Kenchiku Kenkyusho, or Tsukuba Center and get off at Namiki 2-chome stop (about 1 5 minutes). Walk from there for about 1 0 minutes.

Alternatively, take a bus from the West Exit for Tsukuba Center via Doho Park and get off at Kogyogijutsuin Minamiguchi stop, and wa for about 7 minutes.

Another alternative is to take an Highway Buses to Tsukuba from the Yaesu side of Tokyo Station. It goes to Tsukuba Center (about 60 minutes). Get off at the Namiki Ohhashi stop and walk from there for about 15 minutes.
from Tokyo International Airport (Narita):
Take a taxi to NIMC(Busshitukougaku-kogyogijutsu-kenkyusho), Tsukuba. This takes about 90 minutes. The bus for Tsuchiura is also served about every 2 hours. Exit the bus at Tsukuba Center, and take a taxi or a bus.
