A cluster is an assembly of atoms or molecules, the number of which is so large that it is rather difficult to isolate a cluster in a stable form. Clusters play an important role linking atoms or clusters with bulk. Recently, studies on cluster is attracting attention.
In this Project, clusters were regarded as assemblies of smaller number of atoms/ molecules, which could hardly be isolated in stable forms, and the structures and properties of clusters in vacuum, solution, solid surface and microcavities were studied.
