6. Humanoid Robot Simulator
  It is desirable that a humanoid robot has human-like motion capabilities, and is able to assist people in a normal human living environment. To create such a humanoid robot, a complete simulator that is equivalent to a real humanoid robot, in terms of modelling dynamics, geometry, actuators, sensors, controller, and environmental factors, is being developed.
  Using the simulator, various control methods and experiments including tasks with the possibility of overturn are being investigated. Also, the estimation of the necessary specifications of components such as actuators to execute a given task, and prediction of the motion ability of a humanoid robot based on the existing components are in progress.
