今回の'99 つくば科学フェスティバルは、「つくばから世界へはばたけゆめ科学」というテーマで１０月９日（土）〜１０日（日）にかけてエポカルつくばにて開催されました。
当所でも「粘弾性液体の不思議な流れ」、「人の心をいやすメンタルコミットロボット」の２テーマを出展いたしました。
当日は、晴天にも恵まれ市内外から約８，０００名の来場者がありました。
