GSJ

The Geological Survey of Japan (GSJ) and 14 other research institutes, which belonged to the former Agency of Industrial Science and Technology (old AIST), were reorganized in 2001 April into the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (new AIST).

This Web page is a preservation of contents by the old GSJ. The visitors wishing up-to-date information by the new GSJ should visit http://www.gsj.jp/.

The GSJ today is a group of organizations in the new AIST coordinated by a Research Coordinator, which consists mainly of 5 geoscientific research units and related organizations.
